Getting the jet gun is a slog and the map is massive, like I mentioned before. It is insanely tedious to use and requires an exploit to be more effective. However, Maxis requires at least 2 players and while Rictophen side is possible solo, hard to do and unlikely you’ll have a good time doing it.Īverage high rounds made worse with having to use the jet gun. I guess a good thing is that you can finish Maxis side very quickly. Rictophen requires jet gun as well which sucks, need emps for both and getting Avogadro to spawn is inconsistent and annoying. Farm has nothing besides double tap, huge tunnel for no reason, nacht is randomly thrown in for a jet gun part, it is a chore to get navcard parts and jet gun parts since the map is huge. Map is unnecessarily large for no reason. Between the fog and color scheme, it makes a terrible first impression. Since this is my least favorite map, I’ll give descriptions for scoring. It uses an equipment slot which you probably want the shield or turbine for. This thing takes a lot of running around to make, breaks after a few seconds, and takes over a minute to fully cool. Only being able to hold one part at a time is annoying, but there aren’t many parts. Points from the bank make things a lot simpler. It’s annoying to go all around the map to get everything unless you get good teleportation RNG. I’m honestly not sure what the strategy is for high rounds on TranZit, but the wonder weapon is horrible. As mentioned, there are unsettling radio messages and the map’s song is pretty good. The main Easter Egg needs multiple players, but one does exist at least. I do enjoy the bus a lot though, it’s something we hadn’t seen before or haven’t since.Įaster Eggs: 6/10. I really like the individual areas, but the open expanses of fog and lava aren’t great. You’re no longer super soldiers, but people just trying to stay alive. You can’t see through the fog and the radio transmissions you find are disturbing.

People give TranZit a lot of crap for various reasons, but there’s no denying it brought back the horror that was lost in previous maps.
